The Out Of Office Therapist Village is a 12-month membership for therapists who are done choosing between the career they love and the life abroad they want.
Inside, you’ll get the steps, support, and community you need to pack your bags, protect your license, and build a practice that funds your travels.
Thanks, guys! Super helpful and supportive!
But it’s hard to feel differently when you share your travel dreams with friends, only to be told they hope you “really think this through.”
Or when you post a quick question in a therapist Facebook group and get hit with “concerned comments” from 7 strangers who have never left the States.
Or, of course, when you mention your plans to a colleague — only to be hit with the “is that even legal???”
Hint: you’re not. And not only do you deserve to explore the world on your own terms, you don’t have to give up your career or clients to do it.
Since “will I lose my license?” is always the first question I get, let’s get this out of the way: no. Your licensing board doesn’t own you — you just need to check your state’s requirements (and I’ll show you how to do it, plus what to do if your state doesn’t allow it inside The Village!).
But once you’ve crossed that question off the list, there’s still plenty more to work through…
“How do I see clients from opposite time zones, without making anyone miserable?”
“Where will I get clients, without being able to rely on local referrals and networking?”
“Will my EHR of choice be accessible from any location, or will I be locked out?”
“How do I find somewhere to live — especially in places I’m unfamiliar with?”
“Do I keep my U.S. phone number? How do I set up an international phone plan?”
“WTF do I do if you show up to my next apartment and find mold (true story)?”
“How am I going to move around money, without access to Venmo or Paypal?”
“How do I actually book enough clients to pay for all of my travels?”
Or a boat. Or a rickshaw. Or a gondola.
After YEARS of telling myself that long-term travel was for Youtubers (and undoing my limiting beliefs about what therapists “should” and “shouldn’t” do), I finally took the leap, figured out the legalities, and learned the marketing skills that make the nomadic lifestyle possible for therapists.
Now, I take my six-figure therapy practice with me as my family travels the globe year-round, supporting our adventures with just 15-20 client sessions per week — with zero social media or in-person networking required.
I’m not more disciplined than you. I’m not more motivated than you. And I certainly don’t have a secret trust fund making all of this *gestures around* possible.
What I do have, though, is years of proof that it’s not as complicated as people make it sound, that you won’t lose your therapy license, and that the only thing between you and the travel lifestyle you’ve stalked on YouTube is a plan.
(Except for the parts where I met the love of my life in Morocco, gave birth to our daughter in Thailand, and moved us all to Bali. Those were pretty damn special.)
I’m here to help you…
Set your own schedule and see your therapy clients anywhere you can find WiFi
Earn six figures as a nomadic therapist, seeing as few as 12 clients/week
Build a practice that funds and fuels your life abroad, without burning out to do it
Recorded Lessons & Resources
I’ll teach you everything you need to know about taking your therapy practice abroad — from what to expect to navigating the unexpected.
Personalized Roadmap
You’ll get a custom roadmap through the curriculum and a 1:1 onboarding call — so you can skip straight to the stuff that applies to your specific travel plans.
Biweekly Group Coaching Calls
We’ll come together for 90 minutes, every other week — bring your specific questions and roadblocks, and learn from others navigating the same thing.
Supportive Community
Not everyone gets it, but The Village does — and we encourage each other through the core memories and oh, shit! moments (and we’d never say “told you this was a bad idea”).
Unlimited Answers & Support
There isn’t a single question about practicing abroad that I can’t answer (or help you find an answer for) — submit as many as you’d like, and I’ll reply during office hours.
Sessions With Guest Experts
It really does take a village — and I’ll make sure there are plenty of experts in yours, with regular guest sessions with CPAs, legal specialists, and marketing experts.
What’s
Included
It’s truly everything you’ll need to prepare your practice for travel (or start it in the first place) and navigate life abroad — with a built-in community of other therapists doing the exact same thing.

Do I need to file taxes in the U.S. and the other country (or countries) I’m living in?
Should I file my business as a sole proprietorship? An LLC? An S-Corp?
How am I supposed to get clients when I can’t network or open a brick-and-mortar office?
What do I tell my current clients — and when?
How do I handle a clinical emergency when I’m in a completely different time zone?
How the hell am I going to afford all of this travel on a therapist’s income?
WTF do I do if the WiFi cuts out?
What kind of visa do I need, and how long can I stay in my destination?
How do I keep my practice HIPAA-compliant without my own Internet connection?
Inside The Out Of Office Therapist Village, you’ll get the answers to the questions you have *and* the ones you didn’t know to ask — so you can make the move without second-guessing the entire thing.
Including the ones you may not have thought of, like…
Here’s what’s inside…
I learned it all firsthand so you don't have to — the hard way, the expensive way, and occasionally, the “WTF did I get myself into” way.
In The Village, I’m combining years of lived experience with the expertise of accountants, visa specialists, and marketing pros to build a curriculum that covers it all.
Start (Or Travel-Proof) Your Private Practice
Whether you’re just starting your practice from scratch or want to make sure your existing business is set up correctly, I’ll make sure you don’t miss a step.
We’ll cover things like…
Get Consistent Clients Without Relying On Referrals
In-person networking works…until you’re not in-person anymore. I’ll show you how to build a marketing system that finds the right clients for you, regardless of where you’re working from.
You’ll learn how to…
Navigate The Clinical Intricacies Of A Nomadic Practice
The logistics of living abroad are one thing. The clinical side of practicing abroad is another — and I’ve got you covered there, too.
You’ll learn how to…
Handle The Non-Business Side Of Living Abroad
I’ll make sure you also know how to do the little (big) things, like…
Because when you’re planning long-term travel, there’s more to do than just getting your business ready!

Plan That Works For You
The OOO Therapist Village Is Perfect For You If You…
Are a licensed therapist in the U.S. who knows in their bones that living abroad is their next adventure
Are planning to make the move within the next 6-12 months and want to do it without winging it
Want someone who’s been there to walk you through this step by step, so you don’t miss anything
Are ready to start or transition to a fully virtual private practice
The OOO Therapist Village Is NOT Right For You If You…
Just want to travel for a month or two in the summers (you don’t need all of this to do that!)
Are licensed outside of the U.S. (this is specific to U.S. licensing & taxes)
Are still on the fence about whether you want to travel as a therapist (but if you’re deciding and have questions, my DM’s are always open!)
Are still in the early days of planning and not ready to make any changes yet
Worried about what your clients will think?
Not the ones who white-knuckle through endless sessions, ignore their own burnout in favor of helping clients with theirs, or who can’t confidently promote their own services because “therapists shouldn’t sell.”
After years of travel, I can confidently tell you that I’m not just a better person for these experiences — I’m a better clinician.
Turns out, a therapist who genuinely loves their life shows up very differently than one who's counting down to Friday — and your clients will notice, too (don’t they always?).
Press play for a pep talk!
Unfortunately, it’s true what they say: good things take time — but setting up a travel-ready practice isn’t stressful when you aren’t rushed. The therapists who feel prepared when they arrive abroad are the ones who took their time, built their practice, got their systems in place, and used every ounce of prep time to make sure nothing got missed.
I created The Village for therapists who are tired of being told that they can’t design their own lives simply because they’re therapists (despite the fact that we’re literally trained to help clients do the same) — specifically, for the therapist who…
Wants to be the first in their family to choose a lifestyle that prioritizes their well-being and personal fulfillment
Has family and friends across the globe, and wants to be the one who goes to see them, instead of the one stuck at home
Wants to escape a traditional 9-to-5 therapy job or what they’ve been told their life “should” look like
Is done with waiting for the U.S. to feel like the right fit, and wants to live somewhere that feels more aligned with their values
You have kids (and/or pets!).
As a matter of fact, I gave birth to my daughter in Thailand — and yes, kids (and pets) add a layer of planning and logistics to it all, but it IS possible.
Worried about what your clients will think?
You’ve never had a private practice before.
Actually, most members of the village are first-time private practice owners who wanted to make sure they got their business set up right from the start.
You don’t know where you want to go yet.
Figuring out your destination is actually part of the process! Most members don't have it locked in when they join, which is exactly what the visa and lifestyle lessons are for.
Stop Waiting For “One Day”
You don't need a trust fund, a partner with a six-figure remote job to cover you, or a complete disregard for your clients (I would never). You need a plan, a community of therapists who get it (and want the same things), and someone who’s already done it to show you the way.
